hmmm.. Feels weird to be here writing again after my long absence from the blogging world. Loads to catch up on now that the holidays are here. Maybe to start off, i shall confess about my guilty-ness in failing to keep in touch with my friends after the march hols. I'm Sorry !!!!!! haven't really been able to put in much effort to know abt their well-being and whereabouts lately..been too preoccupied with my jc life after the hols - with council, lecture assessments, PW, match supports, match supports and more match supports. Hmm..glad to know that everyone's moving on fine in poly and jc... poly orientation sounds like a lot of fun yeah and i'm very happy that you guys are adapting well to life there !! Remember to take the chance to meet new people, friends and experience lifestyles new to ya !! be open ppl :) !! i bet it'll be very interesting and enriching for all of you! Yet to find a date to make a trip back to bnss to collect my cert...shall find a day to so and get all my buddies back for a get-together with the teachers soon.. ( P/s : ppl!! call me when ur going back okay =) haha !! )
ryte! on a lighter note, shall disclose more about my OBS camp that lasted throughout the week from the 6th till the 10th at pulau ubin !! Truly, I felt that it happened all too fast so much so that i find it difficult to find a starting point for me to exactly begin this so called journal. =) But try i shall and bear with me you shall alright ? haha here's an advanced thanks to all :) !! Hmm, OBS was a inter jc affair this time round - it was a mix of students from Yishun JC and Victoria JC and we were split into watches (aka groups) of 14 to 16 ppl and there were 8 Yjc-ians and 7 Vjc-ians in my group (jia hui, shermaine, ximin, jiaquan, yao wei, tiff, paul, raymond, yong feng, francis, clara, er jian, angela and qiu yi you guys totally rock my socks off ^-^ !!!!) our watch was Sui Sen, supposedly named after a defence minister or something like that but we rather call ourselves swensens ahaha =) and we had an amazing instructor by the name of Daniel who taught us much through his very own unique ways of doing things and by sharing his life principles that definitely got me thinking hard !!
Hmm...would be impossible to write out everything that happened in detail here so i'll just highlight certain stuff and activities that meant a lot to me in one way or another during the course of the camp. The first would definitely be the rock climbing experience - managed to reach the top - the very first for me and also the very first of the many boundaries i broke through during the camp. It was especially significant since i could only do 3 pathethic incline pull ups for NAPFA this year heheh >.< .....i suppose the act of it really got me into the right mentality for the rest of the camp and i'm really thankful for that :) !! The CX expedition was the main highlight of the 5 day camp - we kayak-ed for 7 hours, hiked through the jungle for 5 long hours, rowed boats for 8 hours and slept under the stars for 6 hours in three days. one word to sum the experience up - Priceless !!! wootz ! yep there's nothing i wouldnt give to do the entire thing all over again i guess =) ! just too much memories and lessons gained from it and hopefully i'll be able to cherish all of them in my very own way that i deem fit and best :) !! minus all the mosquito and sandfly bites that are so darn itchy !!!! - i'm scratching even as i'm typing this !! argh ... looks like i'm goona look diseased for some time..sigh...
just realised that after not blogging for such a long time, i've kinda lost my flair for it >.< haha ... now that aside, i wanna say a very very humungously big Thank YOU to everyone in Sui Sen including daniel for making these 5 days such a memorable one for me. You guys will neva fully comprehend the impact and the value that your presence had had on me and i doubt i myself fully understand it on my own too. nevertherless, to put it simply, OBS would never have been what it is without any of you and i thank god for bringing us together on this adventure that is sure to last me through my years ahead ! Thank You people and i wish all of you the very best for your journey ahead !!
